As a Data Sourcing Controller, you will be part of the Data Sourcing team at Quartr. The team's main function is to ensure that investor relations data and public financial information, such as earnings calls, reports, presentations, and more, are accurately gathered and delivered to our users and clients.

What you’ll do
Gather and collect earnings data from publicly listed companies.


Regularly check and monitor investor relations pages for new updates and relevant data.


Support internal and external stakeholders in data-related inquiries.


Source additional data types, such as company presentations, earnings reports, and earnings calls, and contribute to expanding our coverage of publicly listed companies.


You'll primarily focus on a specific market within our coverage, working as part of a dedicated team responsible for that market.

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer to play a key role in building our next-generation document automation solutions.


You'll collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers, as well as interact with Customer Relations, Marketing, and Sales. This is an end-to-end role: design, build, and ship reliable backend systems that automate the lifecycle of document ingestion, parsing, transformation, and storage. Your work will directly impact our user experience and help scale our growing product suite.
What you'll do
Take ownership of new document automation features: design, implement, test, and deploy reliable Python backend solutions
Build scalable systems for automated document ingestion, text extraction, and data transformation from diverse sources and formats (PDF, DOCX, HTML, etc.)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and background services for document processing and data flow
Optimise backend performance for high-volume document workflows and large-scale parallel processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape features from concept to release, ensuring outstanding user experiences
Continuously improve our document automation codebase, tools, and deployment workflows

Professional experience building robust backends in Python, preferably for high-throughput or data-driven systems

Proven experience developing and maintaining REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
Familiarity with asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery, etc.) and distributed processing
Good understanding of relational and/or No databases (e.g., Postgre, MongoDB)
Experience with Docker and deploying cloud-native Python applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus)

About the Data Sourcing Team
As a Data Sourcing specialist, you will be part of Data Sourcing team at Quartr. The team's main function is to ensure that data from Investor Relations and public financial information - such as earnings calls, reports, presentations and more - is accurately gathered and delivered to our users and clients. This role is key in ensuring high-quality data in real time and contributing to the expansion of Quartr's coverage of financial data.
What you’ll do
As a Data Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and collecting data from public companies and their Investor Relations pages during delegated hours in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of data distributed through Quartr’s own products and API. This includes performing continuous checks and scans of Investor Relations pages for the companies we cover. The data you will gather includes earnings reports, earnings calls, and company presentations.
Take ownership of Quartr's current Central European company coverage.
Expand and broaden Quartr's universe of publicly listed companies.
Be accountable for your market's data sourcing and quality assurance.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data.
Support internal and external stakeholders in data-related inquiries.

Please note that this is not a finance analysis, budgeting/accounting, coding or research role.

The role requires full dedication during the afternoon and evening, working hours from precisely 12:30 to 20:30 Mon-Fri. What you'll do
As an Infosec specialist (GRC), you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing Quartr security and compliance strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to establish policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to security best practices.
What will help you succeed 3-5 years of experience in security compliance framework SOC 2
Experience in working hands-on with governance, risk, and compliance roles within a SaaS or fintech environment.
Strong knowledge in cloud security (preferably AWS) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
Experience working with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability management, and risk assessment platforms.
Ability to work independently and drive security initiatives in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus but not required
It's a plus with experience from security incident response and security awareness training, and DevSecOps principles

Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer with relevant work experience within web development and programming.
On a daily basis, you will be part of the Web development team and work closely with other team members, that include other software engineers, a product manager and a product designer, as well as other functions within the company such as customer relations, marketing and sales. However, we are a small but growing company, and you will have to be agile and work cross-functionally by supporting other teams as well.


Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role we believe that you:
Have a minimum of two years of work experience in web development.
Take pride and joy in being part of feature development from the ideation stage all the way to execution and release into production.
Enable a friendly work environment, actively listening to others as well as suggesting improvements when needed.
You are comfortable in a high-tempo environment where focus and goals can shift rapidly.
Our common company language is English so you need to be fluent and comfortable both speaking and writing in English on a daily basis, even if a majority of the team is fluent in Swedish as well.
