About the Role
As our Chartering Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all shipping activities within Nynas. You will lead the Chartering Department and represent the shipping function both internally and externally.
You will manage a significant part of Nynas’ logistics cost base and play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, resilient and sustainable marine transport from and to our refineries, depots and other sites.
Based at our Stockholm Head Office, you’ll collaborate across supply chain, operations, HSSE, finance, and key industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for chartering operations across Nynas, including vessel selection, contract negotiation, voyage instructions, and demurrage management.
Ensure compliance with international regulations and Nynas HSSE standards.
Oversee vetting, vessel suitability, and environmental requirements.
Manage shipping budget, optimize costs, and report KPIs.
Build strategic relationships with shipowners, brokers, and logistics providers.
Drive risk management, contingency planning, and continuous improvement.
Represent Nynas in HSSEQ networks and promote safety culture.
Investigate incidents and embed learnings in operations.
Lead, coach, and develop the Chartering team.

Your Qualifications
University degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Engineering or similar (Master’s degree is a plus).
10+ years of relevant experience in marine chartering, ideally within oil, energy, or chemicals.
Strong knowledge of freight markets, tanker operations, charter party contracts, demurrage and claims as well as maritime laws and international shipping regulations.
Experience in both clean and dirty bulk cargoes; offshore logistics experience is a strong advantage.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost models and shipping data.
Fluency in English (spoken and written), Swedish is a strong advantage

About the Role
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting category management, supplier coordination, and sourcing strategy execution. You will assist in contract management, cost-saving initiatives, and procurement process improvements. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will help ensure smooth procurement operations and contribute to the organization’s strategic sourcing efforts.
This position is based at our Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden. For this position you will be required for some extent to traveling with short notice to our different sites, and therefore we believe working remote and on the go comes naturally for you.
The role reports to Procurement Compliance Manager within the Procurement function and involves cross-functional collaboration. This position requires strong coordination skills to support various procurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing category-specific sourcing strategies.

Assist in contract negotiations and supplier management.
Support internal stakeholders in utilizing procurement processes effectively.

About You
We are looking for an analytical and proactive professional with strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities. You should have a keen interest in procurement processes and category management, along with a detail-oriented approach to supplier coordination and sourcing strategies. We believe you preferably have a university degree within relevant field. To succeed in this role, you have a natural drive for on-time-delivery with a self-reliant attitude, including a high level of integrity. You like to work independently and to handle tasks and problem-solving under time pressure.
Your Qualifications:
2-5 years’ work experience within the field of procurement, finance or engineering.
Experience in procurement, supplier management, or category coordination.
Familiarity with sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
Familiar to procurement systems and contract management.
Proficiency in business communication and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role
As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing category strategies for utilities, chemicals and additives. A central part in the role will be to optimize supplier performance, cost efficiency and alignment with business needs. You will collaborate with business area leaders, cross-functional teams, and key suppliers to implement strategic sourcing decisions.
This position is based in Stockholm and reports to the Procurement Director. The role has a pan-European scope, as the supplier market is primarily European.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Track performance metrics and ensure supplier compliance with agreements.

Be part of maintaining a contract database and relevant procurement documentation.
Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform category strategies.

Lead sourcing and category team projects across relevant business areas.
Utilize procurement systems to drive efficiency and visibility.



About you
We are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of procurement and category management. You should have a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, negotiation skill, driving cost savings, and improving procurement efficiency. We believe you have worked in a manufacturing setting, so you have an in-depth understanding of industrial sourcing and supplier management.

Your Qualifications:
Previous experience from the industrial or energy sector
Proven experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing

As the CFO you will be part of a global team and have the opportunity to contribute to building the company's future and success. Your responsibility will be global and group wide, managing the Finance and ISIT organizations with a staff level of approximately 100. You will be reporting to the Nynas CEO.


NATURE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
As the Chief Financial Officer of Nynas, you will be a member of the Executive Committee (EC), participating in decisions for the whole Nynas Group. Moreover, you will be the chairman of several EC sub-committees. Your area of responsibility will involve risk & treasury management, legal & operational accounting, controlling & reporting, as well as development of a consolidated view on Nynas strategic way forward. The assignment includes the development of group information technology, and additionally group wide areas of expertise for example tax and subsidiary governance.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Responsibility for procuring services externally for added competency and expertise within the area of management responsibility and controlling.
Additionally, the delivery of daily operational performance within the fields of:
o Accounting
o Reporting
o Financing
o Risk management
o ISIT operations and communications
o Tax expertise and subsidiary governance
