*SENIOR PLANNER Role*
We are currently partnered with a pioneering Green Steel Production Company who are constructing a plant in Northern Sweden that will produce Green Steel – Green Steel production emits up to 95% less CO? compared conventional steel production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage the project schedule, supervise and support site contractors, guiding planning and forecasting efforts to align seamlessly with the overarching project objectives.
• Proactively interface with stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Prepare detailed planning analysis, reports, and provide updates on the project schedule status.
• Coordinate with area managers, site team and various stakeholders to ensure cohesion and schedule alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• You have a Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project planning, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and good understanding of planning best practices.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Expertise in identifying and mitigating schedule risks.

The Project Manager – STM Area Packages is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of specific area packages within the Steelmaking and Casting Area. This includes managing scope, quality, budget, and schedule, while coordinating resources across internal teams and external partners, such as EPCM firms and OEMs. The role is critical in ensuring smooth progression through engineering, procurement, and construction phases, maintaining project coherence and consistency, resolving issues proactively, and making decisive interventions to maintain cost, schedule, and quality performance. The role is embedded in a high-paced, dynamic startup environment, requiring a proactive, solutions-driven, and highly accountable leader who can work within a growing and evolving project organization.
Responsibilities:
Scope & Quality Management:
Own delivery of assigned packages, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Monitor and challenge work programs, ensuring compliance with Client policies and procedures. Identify and escalate resource deficiencies.
Budget & Schedule Accountability: Maintain on-time delivery, approve schedule changes, and resolve issues within a 6-week to 6-month outlook. Evaluate trade-offs and oversee detailed schedules.
Performance Management & Reporting: Ensure alignment with project plans, provide transparent reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies, and coordinate with Project Controls.
Delivery Partner Management: Direct and challenge EPCM contractors, manage engineering and construction execution, prioritize partner workstreams, and escalate resourcing constraints.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Problem-Solving: Ensure consistency across project packages, lead structured problem-solving, and drive change request validation.
Safety, Risk & Compliance: Reinforce a safety-first culture, maintain risk registers, and integrate risk mitigation strategies into execution plans.
Qualifications:
Experience & Expertise:
10+ years in project management within heavy industrial or megaprojects (preferably in steelmaking, EPCM, or capital-intensive construction).
Strong background in EPC work package management, schedule (Level 3-5), budget oversight, and risk mitigation.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations, holding contractors accountable, and managing large EPCM firms (such as Flour) and OEM relationships (such as SMS Group).
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strategic and data-driven problem solver, capable of simplifying complex technical issues and influencing senior leadership.
Work Environment Adaptability: Bias for action, comfortable in fast-paced environments with evolving frameworks. Cultural adaptability to a Swedish-based international project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Development
Design and establish a robust end-to-end supply chain structure tailored for a mega construction project.
Develop and implement Lean supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve overall workflow.
Set up procurement, logistics, warehousing, and material handling processes to ensure project success.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.



2. Procurement & Supplier Management
Develop and manage procurement policies that align with project needs, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Source and negotiate with key suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
Establish long-term supplier relationships and risk mitigation strategies for supply chain continuity.
Optimize supplier contracts to include Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery models to minimize excess inventory.



3. Logistics & Inventory Management
Implement Lean warehousing and logistics systems to ensure seamless material flow.
Develop inventory control strategies, including Kanban and pull-based systems, to reduce waste and storage costs.
Oversee transportation and distribution networks to ensure on-time delivery and optimal routing.
Utilize digital tools and supply chain management software for real-time tracking and analytics.



4. Lean & Process Optimization
Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
Conduct value stream mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to sustain operational excellence.
Develop training programs to upskill team members in Lean supply chain practices.

5. Compliance, Risk Management & Sustainability
Ensure compliance with local and international construction supply chain regulations.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to cost fluctuations, material shortages, and delays.
Promote sustainable procurement and green supply chain practices to support ESG goals.
Implement health, safety, and quality control measures in material handling and logistics.



KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3-8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Construction, and Six Sigma methodologies(certification preferred).
Strong experience in procurement, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
Knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and digital transformation tools.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and develop a high-performing team.
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical & Instrumentation
Inspector to join our construction project team within the process
industry. The role is crucial to ensuring that all electrical and
instrumentation installations are executed in compliance with Swedish
regulations, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site inspections and ensure all electrical and instrumentation
(E&I) works comply with design documents, standards, and
Swedish Elsäkerhet regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the installation and
commissioning phases.
• Review and verify contractor work, documentation, and compliance
with applicable safety codes and industry best practices.
• Support commissioning and testing of electrical and instrumentation
systems.
• Interface with construction teams, project management, and
subcontractors to ensure alignment and high-quality execution.
• Document findings, issue non-conformance reports, and follow up on
corrective actions.
• Ensure traceability and documentation of installed equipment and
systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in installation methods, safety,
and QA/QC processes.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
• Valid Electrical qualification in accordance with Swedish Elsäkerhet
regulations.
• Proven experience in large-scale industrial construction projects,
preferably within energy, chemicals, or manufacturing sectors.
• Solid background in Quality Control for electrical and instrumentation
installations.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in steel mill or heavy process industry environments.
• Understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
Familiarity with instrumentation installation, calibration, and loop
checks.
• High voltage certification and practical experience in HV installations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office toolkit.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
