Key elements of the role:

· Provide clients with advice on banking and transaction structures, liquidity solutions and investment options.
· Acting as escalation point for cash management issues within the HSBC network, assuring that issues are solved in a timely manner by the various client service, implementation and/or product teams.
· Liaise interact and support customer groups locally, regionally and globally, constantly keeping relevant parties abreast of Nordic market and GPS product developments.
· Work with implementation and Integration Management to assure agreed product/services are correctly implemented within agreed timelines.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Previous knowledge and experience:
§ Extensive experience of global cash management techniques, market, competitive environment, trends and regulatory environment

GTRF serves as a core service provider for Commercial (CMB) and Global Banking & Markets (GBM) clients.
The GTRF Client Manager is a client-facing role and will deliver globally connected, excellent and market leading service to Premium clients, The jobholder is responsible for managing, owning and handling the transactional needs of assigned clients. He/ she
· Delivers Nordics’ GTRF strategy and operating model, aligned with Europe GTRF target operating model;
· Contribute to the overall business objective of revenue growth through revenue retention, reduced sales time on service and onboarding and improve overall KPIs
· Take full ownership of clients’ transactional needs and have the flexibility and scope to draw on wide experience to resolve service issues
· Work closely with Transaction Services, Operations, Business Development Managers (BDM), RMs for transaction fulfilment and excellent service performance

· Encourage client adoption of self-serve solutions such HSBCnet to enable proactive servicing

Role Context
Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF) is a core business for HSBC. The traditional finance of trade cycles and the information contained therein relies heavily on the professional expertise of GTRF Services and on technology. The ability of Services teams to process transactions efficiently and accurately has long been seen as a differentiator in the market.
GTRF Client Manager is a client facing unit within GTRF Services who
Take full ownership of clients’ transactional needs and coordinate between clients, Transaction Services, Business Development, GSC, CMB, GBM & other internal/ external parties for transaction fulfilment and service performance
Advise clients on trade transactional practices & products
Interact with clients to collect client payments & apply risk controls
Encourage client adoption of self-serve solutions to enable proactive service

Revenue flows for Business Development to explore
Monitor client experience, client feedback & service quality
The jobholder reports to the Country Head of GTRF, and will deliver the GTRF model in the Nordics aligned with the CE model for the clients assigned to him/ her. The jobholder has the flexibility and scope to draw on wide experience to resolve service issues and ensure transactional fulfilment in coordination with multiple internal teams (and external parties, where applicable).

The jobholder will ensure the fair treatment of our clients is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organization.

In order to support continued growth in the region, we are currently looking for an experienced Global Relationship Manager to join the Large Corporates team in Stockholm. In addition to being able to meet below criteria, ideal candidates will be multilingual, including command of a Nordic language (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and / or Swedish).
Responsibilities
· Deliver an outstanding ‘client experience’ to our customers through a client-centric approach by taking ownership, being proactive and responsive.
· Build longstanding, personal and trusted relationships with existing/new clients and develop a profound strategic- and flow business dialogue.
· Be a credible and a high-profile ambassador for HSBC Nordics with our clients and third party stakeholders and by further growing the bank in the Nordic Large Corporate market by attending external business events, seminars and prospects.
· Work collaboratively with product partners and colleagues to execute tailored client plan strategies, increase share of wallet and capture cross border opportunities. Showcase good risk-reward judgement origination of new business and optimize overall relationship returns.
· Ensure integrity and fairness in all aspect of work, including sales process/customer treatment, and demonstrate role model behavior with respect to open feedback culture, inclusiveness/diversity, team engagement, and HSBC’s core values.
· Coach, inspire and motivate junior colleagues and proactively share knowledge, experience and best practices, taking a genuine interest in their progression.
· Provide high quality credit risk proposals showing thorough understanding of your clients and the industries in which they operate, and build a trusted working relationship with Risk, including the timely identification of potential credit issues and periodic credit monitoring.
· Deliver and negotiate credit facility documentation with clients.
· Ensure high standards of operational quality, and take first line of defense responsibility with respect to the management of credit, operational, reputational, compliance and regulatory risks.
· Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information, including KYC requirements, and ensure internal systems are accurately updated, whilst protecting sensitive customer data.
Requirements
· You have a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant corporate banking experience
· You have a degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting, etc) or a similar qualification

· You have relevant work experience in a similar client facing position with comprehensive international needs and knowledge of Commercial Banking (Lending, Cash Management, Trade, FX) / Global Banking & Markets (DCM, ECM, M&A) products and services.
· You have a strong intrinsic motivation to serve clients, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to surpass customers’ needs, solving problems with flair and a tenacity to thrive through results.
· You have a proven track record to develop a client portfolio and acquire new clients at C-suite level
· You have high level of business acumen and adaptation of commercial/risk awareness
· You have a passion for working in an international environment with a good understanding of economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory matters.
· You have excellent financial- and business analysis skills
· You have proven ability in managing complex credit risk processes and a vast experience in negotiating comprehensive credit documentation (syndicated and bilateral).
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a particular emphasis on inspiring people and interacting with customers and colleagues.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Support (Global) Relationship Managers (GRM) with all operational and commercial activities
