You will become part of a European team consisting of 35-40 dedicated Systems & Application Engineers. Background & Skills
You have a successfully completed degree, preferably as a qualified Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, at a level equivalent to a BSc as a minimum, or a proven relevant engineering background within hydraulics and/or electronics. Young professionals are also welcomed to apply for this position.
If you have knowledge and experience of application engineering and ideally mobile off-road applications, this will be an advantage.
Furthermore, you have a proven track record of project management skills, knowledge of software control solutions, communication technology and hydraulic measurement and analysis.
We also expect you to have professional English language skills, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, it will be an advantage if you also have proficiency in other European languages as Swedish, Finnish or Dänish.
Ability to show front-line passion by acting pro-actively on customer request.

As an Application Engineer you will be a part of a European team consisting of 50-55 dedicated Application Engineers. Together with our customers, we develop optimized solutions related to propel, work and control functions by specifying and verifying Danfoss Power Solution products and systems. You will primarily work from the office together with other qualified engineers across EU or work on-site with the customers. But with the right expertise, other arrangements can be agreed on. The job involves travel activity of approx. 40-60 travel days per year.

Job Responsibilities

As Application Engineer, you will have direct customer contact and your main task will be to apply and validate application solutions based on Danfoss Power Solutions’ mobile hydraulic and electronic control products across the entire product line.
More in details, you will:

· Support in pre-selling, carry out customer presentations and training.
· Offer system support to customers.
· Technical specifications based on customer requirements
· System design and sizing
· Proposing proof-of-concept application software solutions
· On-site machine testing and tuning, or at our Application Development Center in Nordborg (Denmark)
· Carrying out day-to-day inquiries and tasks relating to fulfilling customers’ technical requests
· Managing customer projects internally, communicate between internal stakeholders and customers.
· Communicate the voice of our customers by sharing current and future technical mobile market needs with the EU team members and other stakeholders.

Background and Skills

As our new Application Engineer you have BSc or equivalent within Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, or relevant engineering background and is proficient with analytic approach within hydraulics, electronics and/or application control systems.


As a person, you should have an outgoing and pro-active approach, communicate with customers in addition to internal stakeholders. You are committed to your work and eager to learn. We expect you to be open for improvements and able to adjust mindset and have a growth mindset. Last but not least, you have a team player mentality.


Furthermore, you should have good English language skills, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, it will be an advantage to have Swedish as well.

Seen as an advantage:

· knowledge and experience of application engineering and mobile off-road applications.

Danfoss Drives is looking for an energetic and active Sales Engineer to join our Drives business in Sweden. This position is preferably located at our office in Bromma, Sweden. We are also open to other locations within Sweden, including home office as an option.


As our new Sales Engineer, your main responsibility will be to find and acquire new potential customers for Drives business. You will also have your own customer portfolio where you are responsible of developing the business.
