Role
We are now looking for an electrical technician to take an important role in the construction and testing of our full scale wave energy converters. You will work in the Integration and Testing team where you will take the main responsibility for all electrical installations.

Responsibilities
· Install, inspect, repair, replace, maintain and make necessary tests on all low voltage utility systems, equipment, transformers, switchgear, large generators, and distribution systems.
· Assist and perform switching on electrical utility systems as required by operational protective procedures.
· Read schematics, wire and cable routing.

We are looking for a Medium Voltage Electrical Engineer with experience in MV equipment design to take a leading role in the development and optimisation of our innovative wave energy converters.
The role will be working closely with the Powertrain product team and the Electrical group and involve a large amount of interaction with our entire organisation, requiring good collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
Module owner for offshore Wave Energy Converter (WEC) medium voltage (MV) system
Lead MV system design for WEC, offshore substation, onshore substation, and onshore test systems
Specify, track and drive implementation of requirements for MV equipment such as switchgear, transformers, cables, connectors and routing systems
Act as the main technical interface with suppliers, and drive technical component selection, testing and lifecycle management
Implement electrical protection coordination design – using in-house studies or external support
Set technical acceptance criteria for internal/external tests and verification; and evaluate supplier test procedures and results
Produce relevant technical documentation, including reports for third-party certification such as DNV, and external stakeholders such as grid operators, customers/EPC’s and partners
Perform failure mode, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) for sub-systems
Interface with other internal module owners to enable implementation of requirements for MV sub-systems
Investigate new solutions to improve performance, reliability and manufacturability
Establish optimal design to support industrialization and effective serial production

Skills and qualifications
BSc or a MSc degree in electrical engineering or related disciplines with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in MV system design, with compliance to IEC standards (e.g. IEC 62271, IEC 60076, IEC 60502-2, CIGRE).
Experience of MV engineering for an offshore environment, ideally including familiarity with offshore certification (e.g. DNV OS-D201, DNV ST-145, DNV ST-0076)
Experience with protection relays for MV switchgear – specification, protection coordination, relay configuration and commissioning
Signal interfacing experience with IEC 61850 to SCADA and substation control systems.
Experience with running models in DigSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E or equivalent software tools for load flow, short circuit and equipment sizing

Role :
As a Senior Composite Engineer – Product Owner, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of advanced composite structures for CorPower’s pivotal Wave Energy Converters (WECs). You will provide technical leadership across the design, analysis, manufacturing, testing and certification of large and novel composite structures, critical to enabling the performance of the WEC. You will help set the direction for composite architectures, materials, processes and verification methods, and act as the go-to expert for complex composite structural challenges. The role is focused on advanced design & analysis aspects and highly collaborative, working closely with composite manufacturing, Systems & Analysis, Integration & Testing, Supply Chain, and Marine Operations – aiming to deliver robust, cost-effective and environmentally responsible composite solutions at scale.
Technical Responsibilities :
• Own the end-to-end design and development of large, complex and highly loaded composite structures, from requirements and concept through detailed design, analysis, prototyping, qualification and production release.
• Lead and guide composite structural analysis, sizing for stability, strength and fatigue with hand calculations and FEA codes and ensure that the analysis and test plans are aligned and that validated models and results underpin critical decisions.
• Select materials, layups and processes (e.g., filament winding & VARI) to meet performance, reliability, manufacturability and cost targets.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, design & test reports, certification documentation and presentation materials for internal, external and regulatory audiences.

Role Description
You will support the design, assembly and operation of our Powertrain test rig to test and validate the components of our future powertrains (generator, inverter, gearbox, battery, etc.). As a member of the Assembly and Test (A&T) team, your work includes collaborating with our Powertrain engineering team to develop test rigs and test plans, conduct tests, analyse data, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. This position requires hands-on with our equipment hardware and structured verification process to ensure the EES integrates safely and reliably, maintains grid stability, and fulfills obligations under the relevant Grid Code.


Responsibilities (and Duties)
A&T team member responsible for the Powertrain test rig, contributing to the design and leading the assembly, test and operation of the Powertrain test rig.
Carry out the verification of the specifications of the functional + software requirements, covering all the test rig functions
Carry out the grid connected EES verification (net consumer)
Carry out the grid compliance verification (generation connection)
Develop test automation and maintain monitoring of test rig
Maintain functional testing resources under operational conditions.
Clearly communicate issues, successes, and challenges through regular activity reports.
Use your electronic & mechanical skills and experience to design and participate in test benches
Support test data analysis and reduction to assess performance and function, identify anomalies, and asssting with data needed to validate analytical or finite element models
Prepare test plans, reports, and technical documentation, clearly summarizing methods, results, and conclusions.

Qualifications and skills
A power electronic background with proved experience on inverters, generators, battery management systems (software experience a plus)

You have a broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in the different aspects of machinery and mechanical design. Knowledge of mooring, gear box technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, structural optimization, pressure vessel, fabrication, sensors, routings and/or electricity generation equipment is qualifying. Experience using Orcaflex (or similar) and ROVs highly beneficial.
You have experience working with Creo CAD, WindChill PLM, and Ansys for structural analysis.
If you have experience with equivalent software and willing to get up to speed this also qualifies.

Responsibilities
You will drive the design-to-cost process together with design team and feed design input for manufacturing processes, quality, cost, supplier selections and logistics.
Your purchasing scope is focused on LV/MV components, electrical drive train components, sensors and control equipment. However, as a supply chain team member you will support the entire product development and delivery process where needed.
The scope of responsibility includes the product delivery phases from design, quotations/negotiations, sourcing decision and purchasing, delivery monitoring, incoming control/quality
Establishing and developing relationships with key suppliers of electrical components and sub-systems
Actively control the supply chain towards time synchronized delivery to project schedule
Cost calculations and cost improvement projects together with suppliers
New supplier qualification according to supplier approval process and ISO9001 requirements
Consider global sourcing and local content aspects as a natural part of all sourcing work.

Skills and qualifications
You have at least two years working experience of strategical and operational purchasing/procurement, with a degree in relevant discipline. You have experience from industrial machinery and electrical components, preferably for harsh environments, for instance from automotive, mining, marine applications or other sectors with similar requirements. You have a broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in the different aspects of machinery and mechanical design. Knowledge of mooring, gear box technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, structural optimization, pressure vessel, fabrication, sensors, routings and/or electricity generation equipment is qualifying.

The Role

The Project Office at CorPower is looking for a dynamic project engineer (Electrical Engineering) to join a fast-growing and successful team to lead delivery of PreFEED and FEED projects from the Electrical Work Package perspective. The role requires the mindset of engineer first, project manager second, combining both these skills to deliver sound technical engineering projects with a solid application of project management principles. This is a dynamic role where no day is the same and in which one must be comfortable reacting to a fast-paced environment where solutions must be found quickly through agile management, solid problem solving, good engineering judgement and strong leadership. The role is commercially focussed on developing projects, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, and delivering PreFEED and FEED stages of commercial wave farm projects around the world.
Responsibilities

Skills and qualifications

Responsibilities
? Module owner for medium voltage (MV) systems (6,6 - 66kV)
? Lead MV system design in the offshore wave energy converter and offshore/onshore electrical substations
? Specify requirements for MV switchgear and transformers; and lead technical component selection
? Implement protection coordination design – using in-house studies or external support

Skills and qualifications
