What you will do?
As Jr PSRA-Specialist you are part of the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs department, a team of eight. The team ensures that the Wood Coatings products and raw materials comply with current regulations and AkzoNobel requirements. The department is also responsible for supporting Akzo Nobel´s customers with relevant information in legislation and safe handling of their products. As Jr PSRA-specialist you will have a more supporting role for the senior specialists. The role includes national and international contacts with suppliers, trade associations and authorities as well as production sites, RD&I, Marketing and other PSRA departments within the company.
Your main responsibilities are:
· Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulations, i.e. all EU chemical regulations, ensure transfer and retention of knowledge.
· Contribute to produce regulatory compliance statements for customers.
· Evaluate and maintain raw material data.
· Make Poison Center Notifications for the products placed on the EU market.
· Communicate effectively internally with other departments
· Respond to internal customers and resolve raw material and/or product issues accurately and in a timely fashion.
· Contribute to cross functional project teams as required.
This is a temporary position during the period December 2023 to September 2024. You will report to PSRA Manager Wood Coatings and will be located at our site in Årsta.

Who you are?

You have good knowledge of chemistry as well as the ability to read, analyze and interpret chemical and legal text and technical documentation. You have good data and MS Office skills. Pergopak-produktionen är en del av Wood Coatings, Performance Coatings och är en ren Legoproduktion för Martinswerk GmbH i Tyskland. I Stockvik finns den enda produktionsanläggningen för Pergopak i världen. Pergopak används i färger och lacker där man vill skapa en matt yta med "Soft touch" känsla. Ett annat stort användningsområde är inom Jordbrukssektorn. Produktionen av Pergopak drivs idag av ett engagerat team på 14 stycken medarbetare.

Vad kommer du att arbeta med?
Har du ett intresse för kemi och/eller processteknik? Är du en initiativtagande och engagerad person som hade tyckt det var roligt att prova på arbetet i en produktion? Då kan du vara en av våra sommarvikarier! Under semesterperioden juni-augusti 2021 söker vi nu personal som kan arbeta i vår produktion i Stockvik.
Som Processoperatör kommer du att tillsammans med dina kollegor ansvara för att våra produkter tillverkas säkert, med rätt kvalitet och i rätt tid. Arbetsuppgifter kan vara packning av produkten i storsäck, processanalyser, kontroll av den fysiska statusen av anläggningen, egenkontroller samt utförande av operatörsunderhåll.

För att klara av arbetet bra ser vi att du som person är ansvarstagande, noggrann, systematisk och trivs med att arbeta i ett team. Alla anställda arbetar kontinuerligt med förbättringar, vilket innebär att du tycker om att ta egna initiativ för att förbättra och lösa problem. Som sommarvikarie arbetar du skift med följande upplägg: Två dagar dagtidsarbete (kl. 06.00-18.00) följt av två nätter (kl. 18.00-06.00) sedan är du ledig i fyra dagar.

We are now searching for a new Junior PSRA-Specialist to our business AkzoNobel Wood Coatings. Do you have a passion for paint and chemistry and thrive for customer service? Then you might be our new Junior PSRA-Specialist in Årsta!

What you will do?
As Junior PSRA-Specialist you are part of the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs department, a team of eight. The team ensures that the Wood Coatings products and raw materials comply with current regulations and AkzoNobel requirements. The department is also responsible for supporting Akzo Nobel´s customers with relevant information in legislation and safe handling of their products. The role includes national and international contacts with suppliers, trade associations and authorities as well as production sites, RD&I, Marketing and other PSRA departments within the company. Your main responsibilities are:
• Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulations, i.e. all EU chemical regulations, ensure transfer and retention of knowledge.
• Produce regulatory compliance statements for customers.
• Make Poison Center Notifications for the products placed on the EU market.
• Communicate effectively both internally with other departments and externally with our customers, regulators, suppliers, trade associations.
• Be able to translate regulatory requirements to practical implications for the business.
• Contribute to cross functional project teams as required.

You will report to PSRA Manager Wood Coatings and will be located at our site in Årsta. This is a permanent position.

Who you are?
This is a service for you who want to work administratively and have interest in regulatory issues. We believe you have a University degree in chemistry and maybe you are recently graduated. You have good knowledge of chemistry as well as the ability to read, analyze and interpret chemical and legal text and technical documentation. You have knowledge of chemical legislation such as BPR, REACH and CLP, is desirable, as well as knowledge of chemistry or polymer chemistry. You have good data and MS Office skills. It is required that you are fluent both in English and Swedish, oral and written.

You are service minded, a good communicator and a team player with an open mindset and optimism. You show great ability of discipline and self-confidence in your daily work. You thrive in a coordinating role and in a high pace environment.
