At Akkodis Electrical Solutions, we are looking for 2D Electrical Design Engineers to join our growing team. You'll be working on cutting-edge electrification projects within automotive, heavy machinery, and transportation – helping to design the systems that power the vehicles of tomorrow.
What Will You Do?
Design and develop 2D electrical schematics for cable harnesses or other electrical components in vehicles and machines.


Work with tools such as E3, EPLAN, Saber, Capital Harness, SolidWorks Electrical to create accurate and production-ready documentation.


Collaborate with mechanical and systems teams to ensure proper integration and functionality.


Support the entire product development lifecycle – from concept and prototype to production and validation.


Drive improvements in documentation standards and schematic consistency across projects.


Troubleshoot and revise electrical designs as needed during testing or manufacturing.

What Do You Offer?
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar – or equivalent professional experience.


Proven experience in 2D electrical design, ideally within automotive and/or heavy machinery.


Proficiency in E3, EPLAN, Saber, Capital Harness, or other 2D drafting systems.


Basic understanding of 3D CAD is a plus but your focus is 2D.


Familiarity with industry standards for electrical systems and harness production.


Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus).

Create and optimize cable harness solutions, from 3D installation to 2D schematic design.

Lead projects from initial concept to production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Support prototyping, form boards, and the manufacturing process for cable harnesses.
Provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
What Do You Offer? A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Hands-on experience with cable harness design, production, and project management- ideally within automotive.
Proficiency with 2D drafting systems like E3, Saber, Eplan, SolidWorks Electrical.
Experience with 3D CAD systems such as Catia, NX, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or AutoCAD.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Det inkluderar bland annat militära fordon, båtar, lastbilar, bussar och tåg. Branschen står inför stora utmaningar med elektrifiering och behöver fler kunniga och nyfikna medarbetare för att konstruera elsystem och kablage.
Arbetsuppgifter
Som elektromekanik-designer inom fordon kommer du att:
Konstruera och utveckla installationen av elsystem och kablage i CAD verktyg.
Delta i tekniska diskussioner och bidra med din expertis
Självständigt driva dina uppgifter samtidigt som du samarbetar i team
Lösa problem och anpassa lösningar efter kundens behov
Du kommer arbeta i en hybridlösning där du fördelar tiden mellan att arbeta inhouse på vårt kontor, hemifrån och resor till kund ca 3-6 gånger/år.
Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som har:
Minst 2 års erfarenhet av mekanikkonstruktion
Du har jobbat i fordonsindustrin och/eller med elektromekanik
Utbildning från universitet, högskola eller yrkeshögskola inom maskin, mekanik eller elektronik
Erfarenhet av CAD-verktyg som CREO, CATIA, NX eller liknande
Flytande kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i tal och skrift
